Frequently Asked Questions

The questions business owners ask us most before hiring a HorizonOne Success Partner.

Are Success Partners my employees?

No. Success Partners are independent contractors engaged by HorizonOne, so you don't take on payroll, benefits or employment obligations. We recruit, train, pay, coach and support them. You direct their day-to-day work.

Who handles payroll and taxes?

We do. HorizonOne pays your Success Partner directly, and you pay one monthly invoice to HorizonOne. You don't run foreign payroll.

What hours do they work?

Your business hours, in your time zone. We support clients in the US, Canada, the UK and Australia, and our Success Partners work the shift your business needs, including overnight shifts in the Philippines.

How will I know what they're working on?

You direct their work day to day, and every week you get an End-of-Week (EOW) report summarizing what was completed. HorizonOne also monitors performance and coaches your Success Partner on an ongoing basis.

How much does it cost?

Customer support, admin support, appointment setters and cold callers: $1,300/month, full-time. Accounting roles: $2,000/month. CRM automation and management: $2,200/month. Hourly arrangements can be discussed on a discovery call.

What's included in the monthly rate?

A dedicated, full-time Success Partner; recruitment and vetting; training on your tools before day one; payroll; ongoing coaching and performance support from HorizonOne; and a weekly EOW report.

Is there a minimum contract?

Yes, 3 months. It gives your Success Partner time to learn your business and deliver real results.

What if it's not a good fit?

Your first week is a trial week. If your Success Partner isn't the right fit, we'll replace them or you can cancel.

What if my Success Partner quits?

We replace them at no extra cost for as long as your contract runs, and we train the replacement on your tools.

Will my business information stay confidential?

Yes. Every Success Partner signs a confidentiality agreement (NDA) before working on a client account, and we're happy to sign your NDA too.

How is access to my systems handled?

Your Success Partner works in your tools with their own login, and you decide what they can access. We recommend giving only the access the role needs. When an engagement ends, we help you remove access the same day.

Who owns the work?

You do. Everything your Success Partner creates for your business belongs to you.
